tntyGo gives you control over your account and personal information.
You may request permanent deletion of your tntyGo account and associated personal data at any time, subject to limited retention where required or permitted by law.
Delete Your Account in the tntyGo App
If you can access your account:
1. Open tntyGo.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Account & Privacy.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Complete any required identity or security verification.
6. Review the deletion information and confirm your request.
tntyGo may require you to reauthenticate before accepting a deletion request in order to protect your account from unauthorised deletion.
Request Account Deletion Without the App
If you no longer have the tntyGo app, cannot access the in-app deletion feature, or otherwise prefer to submit your request through the web, you may request deletion by emailing:
Use the subject line:
Delete My tntyGo Account
Include:
- the email address associated with your tntyGo account; and
- a clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your tntyGo account.
Do not send your password, payment card information, identity document number, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.
We may contact you to complete reasonable identity verification before processing the request. This protects accounts against fraudulent or unauthorised deletion.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Following a valid deletion request, tntyGo will initiate deletion or anonymization of personal information associated with the account in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Depending on how you used tntyGo, this may include account and profile information, saved preferences, personal travel information, account-linked content, and other personal information associated with the account.
Where information has been made public or shared with other users, deletion may involve deletion, anonymization, de-identification, or removal of the association with your account, as appropriate to the nature of the information, applicable law, and the rights and safety of other users.
Information We May Retain
Account deletion does not necessarily require deletion of every record immediately.
tntyGo may retain limited information where reasonably necessary and permitted or required for:
- compliance with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or recordkeeping obligations;
- completed or disputed transactions and bookings;
- fraud prevention and abuse detection;
- security and protection of users, businesses, tntyGo, and third parties;
- chargebacks, disputes, claims, investigations, and enforcement;
- exercising or defending legal rights; and
- maintaining records of privacy and account-deletion requests.
Information retained for these purposes will remain subject to appropriate safeguards and will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose or legal requirement.
Business and Organization Accounts
If your tntyGo account is associated with a business, organization, destination, government entity, or other professional workspace, deleting your personal account does not automatically delete the legal entity, public business listing, organization records, transaction records, or content that the organization independently owns or is required to retain.
Where appropriate, ownership or administrative responsibilities may need to be transferred or otherwise resolved before deletion can be completed.
Personal access to those workspaces will be removed or otherwise handled as part of the deletion process.
Bookings, Transactions and Reviews
Records relating to completed bookings, transactions, disputes, refunds, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal compliance may be retained where necessary.
Reviews or other contributions may be deleted, anonymized, or disassociated from your personal account where appropriate and permitted by law.
Third-Party Service Providers
Where service providers process personal information on tntyGo’s behalf, tntyGo will take appropriate steps regarding deletion requests in accordance with applicable law, contractual obligations, and our data-processing arrangements.
Independent third parties may separately retain information under their own legal obligations or privacy policies.
Processing Your Request
We aim to process verified deletion requests without unreasonable delay and within timeframes required by applicable law.
If additional information is necessary to verify or complete your request, we will contact you using the contact information available to us.
